Better Options for Better Living
In a world where consumption of sweet drinks has run rampant, we want to have an honest conversation about the risks and benefits of natural sugar, added sugar, and artificial sweeteners. The World Health Organization advises against artificial sweeteners and suggests that the best way to enjoy sweet drinks is with natural sugar. Anecdotally, many people with digestive health issues will tell you that excessive added sugar and artificial sweeteners are harder on the digestive tract. Clinical research is now finding links between artificial sweeteners and negative health outcomes such as diabetes and heart disease, at Flova we want to reverse course and give our bodies the food it evolved to digest.
In accordance with our founding, we also want to educate the world about gut health and help those suffering from IBD and other chronic illnesses. To that end, a portion of our profits are donated to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation to better understand digestive health. We are constantly searching for communities that need our help, and we are continuing to build partnerships such as with Beyond Type 1 to help those with diabetes.
